LDT Projects
Below are a few of the Learning, Design, and Technology projects that I have worked on - either on my own or as a collaborator. Accompanying each project is a short description of the project and what my role was in its creation.

Cultural Representation in Curriculum
This project, created for my Instructional Multimedia Development course, was a collaborative project that I completed along with three of my colleagues. The main objective of the course was to train K-12 educators on how to make their class curriculums more culturally responsive and representative of the diverse population of students that they teach in the classroom. We created this project using Articulate 360 and my role was to test each section after completion and make revisions as needed (i.e. making sure that interactive elements worked correctly, proofreading text, etc.). I also recorded the voiceover narrations to make the project more accessible.

How to Write a Screenplay
This project, also developed for my Instructional Multimedia Development course, was created solely by me using Adobe Captivate. In addition to being created for a class, I have used this course as a resource for my 4th and 5th grade Film students to supplement my instruction. The main objective of the course is to teach them about three-act structure and how to identify the main elements of a screenplay (i.e. scene headings, character names, action blocks, dialogue, and transitions). Having studied Film and TV production since high school, I served as both the subject matter expert and instructional designer.

For my Learning, Design, and Technology Capstone course, I was tasked with finding a client and developing an instructional tool that would help solve an organizational problem. My client was the 2nd grade team at Rowlett Elementary and their problem was that they did not have enough time to cover all Florida’s state science standards by the end of the school year. The main objective of this program is to cover one of those standards: Force and Changes in Motion. I created this program using Adobe Captivate and thoroughly planned it out using the storyboard found below.
